A lovely older house in Almoharín in the Sierra de Montanchez.

The house faces south and is on two floors.


Downstairs you will find:

• a spacious, private patio with flowers and a lemon tree

• a big, modern, fully equipped kitchen/diner with folding doors to the patio

• a sitting room/hall in the traditional Spanish style

• a bedroom with a double bed and adjoining dressing room

  2. a laundry area with a new washing machine

  3. a fully equipped shower room with toilet, bidet, basin and shower

Upstairs there is:

• a huge salon with wood-burning stove

• a large double bedroom

• a fully equipped bathroom with toilet, bidet, basin, two showers and a bath


La Casa del Limonero is self-catering but we provide bed linen, plenty of towels, kitchen linen, etc.  There are maps, guide books, board games and eclectic holiday reading. Included are fans for the summer and logs for the wood-burning stove in the winter. Sleeps four (two couples) but can accommodate up to six people.

€45 per couple per night regardless of time of year. Minimum stay three nights.


Almoharín is a village with shops, banks, cash point, bars, restaurants, garage, post office, public telephone and swimming pool. It is on a bus route to Cáceres with bus, coach and train links beyond.
